This course provides students (teachers and/or trainers) with the skills and conceptual knowledge for instructional design and development of student-centered and self-directed learning activities in learning environments. The course also addresses critical issues in the instructional design and development process, including effective modifications of instruction that uses advanced technologies for special needs students, and mentoring other faculty members.

Instructional Unit:

In this IU I wanted to create a lesson that showed learners will be able to design a simple historical war game to illustrate a key event or concept in their curriculum, including defining objectives, creating roles, and establishing basic rules of play.
